About Us
 Etchings By Mindy  offers one-of-a-kind personalized gifts for that special occasion. Unlike laser engraving which is surface engraving, my engraving is sandblasted, creating a deep etch in every item.  Simple but elegant, giving with a touch of class. 

 

I began etching glass when I worked for Snyder's Cut Crystal in Cumberland Maryland.  I was employed there for eight years  until its closing in August of 2006. I really  enjoy the art of sandblasting and love the challenge of creating the perfect artwork for each piece.  I decided that I would open my own business via the internet due to the demand in the Western Maryland Community for personalized glassware and the desire to continue doing what I love. 

 

The business expanded to a storefront in November 2008 at 20 Broadway, Frostburg, MD. We offer a wide variety of crystal, glass and giftware items that are not featured on the website.  Store hours: Tuesday-Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday 12 noon to 3 p.m. We are closed Sunday and Monday.  Telephone: 301-689-3399.

There are four simple options to choose from to place your order:  Telephone, Fax , be Invoiced or Email

 

  • You may call us at 301-876-8385

 

  • You may print out the order form and fax it to us at 301-689-5602

 

  • You may also choose to be invoiced.  Email your order to us at mindy@etchingsbymindy.com. We will send you an invoice, in which you would make your payment using PayPal's secure website.  This enables you to review your order and also pay using major credit cards, bank transfers and PayPal.  We do not have access to your bank information.  You do not have to have PayPal to use this feature.

 

  • You may email us your order.  Make sure all information is correct, especially spelling.  Also, include your credit card information: mastercard, visa, discover, etc., the expiration date on the card, and the name on the card.
